Job description

In this role, you will drive the development of Siri’s Execution and Agentic platform that powers all Siri requests across all Apple devices. You will partner with many organizations in- and outside of Siri to gather requirements and lead the teams through evolving the platform to support the ever increasing complexity of Siri capabilities.

Working across the entire Siri and Tools organization to enable next generation features while ensuring that the platform stays focused and extensible
Employee development and mentorship
Successful managers at Apple balance both technical execution and the long-term vision for their team
They collaborate effectively with partner and product teams to define goals, set expectations, and shape roadmaps
As a leader, you will provide both technical and career mentorship, empowering your team to succeed
Strong interpersonal skills are essential for communicating technical complexities clearly to engineering partners, product management teams, and executives across Apple

3-5 years of engineering management experience, involving mentoring of individual contributors (ICs) both as engineers, but as possible future leaders
Experience building on-device (handset or others) infrastructure
Comfort with ambiguity in projects and evolving requirements
Proven track record of developing a product vision, achieving cross-functional alignment and executing on it
Ability to empathize with client teams and to appreciate their needs
Proven ability to translate requirements from design to implementation, both independently and within larger teams
Demonstrated ability to actively manage team performance and take ownership of driving outcomes
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science or a related field

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
