We are searching for the best talent for a field-based Regional Business Director role to support the commercialization of Monarch Urology. This position will be based in New York City, Boston, MA, New Jersey, Philadelphia, PA or Ohio.
Purpose:
The MONARCH™ Platform was first introduced in 2018, creating a new category of care as the first endoluminal robotic-assisted bronchoscopy system designed to help physicians access small, hard-to-reach lung nodules to enable earlier diagnosis of lung cancer. The Monarch Platform for Urology will soon create a new category of care as the first robotic-assisted urology system designed for endoluminal and percutaneous access of organs across the urinary tract to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
You will be Responsible for:
Develop and execute regional business plans that achieve capital placement, procedure growth, and disposable revenue objectives within the assigned geography.
Recruit, coach, develop, and lead a team of Area Sales Leaders and Clinical Representatives, setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performance culture.
Guide direct reports in territory planning, funnel development, sales forecasting, account prioritization, and customer engagement strategy.
Partner with the field team to identify, access, and develop clinical and economic champions across target health systems, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers.
Support and lead complex capital sales cycles, including executive stakeholder engagement, evaluation planning, value communication, pricing strategy alignment, and program implementation.
Ensure strong coordination across pre-sale evaluation, launch readiness, clinical adoption, market awareness, and ongoing utilization growth.
Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships while supporting the team in addressing customer goals related to clinical outcomes, workflow, economics, and service experience.
Present sales forecasts, pipeline updates, business risks, and regional performance insights to sales leadership on a regular basis.
Partner cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, medical affairs, professional education, operations, and service teams to support successful launches and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of Monarch Urology technology, kidney stone treatment pathways, competitive dynamics, and relevant market trends.
Operate with a strong commitment to compliance, quality, and all applicable company policies and healthcare industry requirements.
The expected base pay for this position is: $200,000 for Regional Business Director (PG 31) and $175,000 for Associate Regional Business Director (PG 30)
The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
This position is eligible for either a company car or a car allowance through the Company’s FLEET program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours
Volunteer Leave – 4 days
Caregiver Leave – 10 days
Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare, medical device, or related commercial experience is required for Regional Business Director (Level 1/Associate); 4 or more years is preferred for Regional Business Director (Level 2) placement.
Prior experience in capital equipment sales, complex clinical sales, or surgical robotics commercialization is required.
Prior people leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, performance management, and talent development is required.
Demonstrated ability to engage both clinical stakeholders and economic buyers in a complex sales environment is required.
Strong business planning, forecasting, and territory management capabilities are required.
Experience in urology, endourology, surgical robotics, or operating room-based commercialization is preferred.
Ability to work in hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments, including live procedural settings and required protective equipment, is required.
Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel, up to 75% within the assigned region is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance with applicable quality and healthcare industry requirements is required.
This position operates in a field-based sales leadership environment and requires regular travel throughout the assigned geography. The role includes customer-facing work in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and procedural settings, as well as collaboration with internal matrix partners to support successful system launches and ongoing utilization growth.
