Brand Innovation Lab (
BIL) US is looking for a Principal BD, Partnerships to operationalize how
BIL US identifies, prioritizes, and develops high-value advertising innovations on Amazon's canvas surfaces. This role facilitates vertical pod creatives and business leaders in proposing canvas priorities, executing on strategically approved initiatives, and coordinating all
BIL engagement with Amazon canvas teams to prevent fragmentation. This leader will work closely with all senior leaders across the
BIL US team, helping to transform canvas innovation from ad-hoc exploration into a scalable, strategically aligned capability.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage strategic partnerships spanning Amazon's canvas of creative partners
• Translate advertiser and stakeholder needs into usable narratives and actionable requirements for
BIL• Maintain a clear roadmap of priorities and communicates updates to stakeholders at all levels
• Build scalable systems and partner inroads for proactive campaign development
• Uncover opportunities for new revenue, co-innovation, and product integration
• Own key docs, meetings, goal planning/tracking, resource planning, and communications.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with priority Amazon canvas teams and their
GTM owners on behalf of
BIL US Core
• Serve as the unified
BIL voice to canvas partners, preventing fragmented or redundant
outreach• Identify emerging canvas innovation opportunities early in partnership with canvas teams
• Facilitate discussions on scaling successful innovations as new products or features with canvas teams or Amazon Ads
• Manage operational stakeholder communication and provide regular updates
• Partner with
BIL technology leads and Canvas product owners to drive innovation prototype development
• Own and manage the central knowledge hub for canvas capabilities, feasibility findings, and partner learnings
• Define shared innovation goals between
BIL and canvas product teams to ensure prioritization alignment
• Connect advertiser needs with canvas capabilities to surface viable innovation concepts
• Work with Brand Partnership team to increase volume of turnkey solutions, off-the-shelf innovations, and quick turn initiatives

Brand Innovation Lab (
BIL) is an internal group within Amazon Ads that creates one-of-a-kind campaigns and activations for global advertisers. Using all of the different creative touch-points across The Amazon Canvas, we create full-funnel campaigns that reach millions of Amazon shoppers across our digital channels and out in the real world, connecting brands and customers in unexpected ways.
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- 7+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source
- Experience developing and executing on
GTM strategies that are large in scope
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
- Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high level architecture solutions to build on

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
