We cover the entire analytics spectrum - from designing foundational metrics and uncovering deep user insights via innovative, rigorous, and advanced statistical methodologies to leading critical product launch evaluations.
In this role, you will partner directly with Engineering and Product Management teams to shape Generative AI-based development tools that are fundamentally redefining developer productivity. You will drive the product success of flagship, high-priority Google Cloud initiatives on a team where analytics directly influences executive decisions.
You will work at the forefront of AI, applying advanced analytics to next-generation developer tools. You will also serve as a co-pilot to product and engineering leaders, steering the direction of the product from inception to launch.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive, partner to Engineering and Product Management team, anticipating product needs to shape roadmaps and guide decision-making.
- Manage business questions by applying advanced statistical methodologies. Continually push boundaries by designing and implementing novel analysis techniques and trailblazing analytical frameworks.
- Design and establish advanced metrics to measure product health, setting new measurement standards for GenAI ecosystems.
- Design and execute launch evaluations and experimentation frameworks, ensuring high-quality, data-driven feature rollouts.
Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 3 years of work experience with a PhD degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 6 years of work experience with a PhD degree.
- Familiarity with modern machine learning techniques and Large Language Models (LLMs).
