Job Description
Director, Corporate Development and our company's Integration Office
Our company's Integration Office, as part of Corporate Development, leads the enterprise integration of Human Health and Animal Health mergers & acquisitions into our company. The group works closely with Corp. & Business Development in undertaking due diligence of target companies, aligns with leadership on the integration strategy, leads the Enterprise Integration Team in developing and executing the integration plans, and drives transparency across the combined company to minimize & mitigate business disruption.
Reporting to the Executive Director and Head of our company's Integration Office, the Director, of our company's Integration Office will support the execution of strategic business development transactions (mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs) impacting the enterprise.
Primary responsibilities include:
Participate in operational due diligence on the Target company to identify the value drivers, operational risks and HR strategy for the Target organization
Support and lead the Enterprise Integration Team in the following:
Mobilize and onboard the Enterprise Integration Team teams across the applicable divisions and all global support functions.
Drive development of enterprise-wide Day 1, interim and end state integration plans.
Identify and drive resolution of interdependent activities across the impacted business areas to minimize and mitigate risk of business disruption.
Proactively identify and resolve conflicts and interdependencies; when appropriate, escalate conflicts/disputes via appropriate channels.

Keep a finger on the pulse of the Target Company & Enterprise Integration Team to remain focused on the value drivers and drive collaboration.
Keep executive leadership informed of integration progress and potential risks to the key value drivers.
Drive a positive employee experience for the Target employees through a period of uncertainty.
Drive execution of integration plans across the enterprise.
Develop processes & tools and drive continuous integration improvement via updates to the Integration Playbook.
Drive up-skilling of integration capabilities across the enterprise through close collaboration with divisional and functional leadership.
Manage the definition, tracking & reporting of value captured from the transaction.
Drive operational planning for and manage execution of entity restructurings (i.e., LEI, LES) to drive realization of the Company’s global strategy while ensuring no disruption to the business.
Location/Commute:
We offer a hybrid work model (combination of in-office & offsite/remote). This position cannot be 100% remote.
Applicant must have ability to work from our location sites in Rahway, NJ and/or Upper Gwynedd/West Point in PA with up to 15% travel (including international).
Position Qualifications
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferred: Masters or above.

Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

Strong critical thinking skill to identify, communicate and resolve complex operational issues.

The salary range for this role is
$156,900.00 - $247,000.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
