This role is a hands-on HR leader supporting logistics operations by turning business goals into action through strong communication, compliance, and people development. You’ll manage core HR programs, guide leaders and associates, and ensure training, safety, and policy standards are consistently met. What you'll do...
This team serves as the HR foundation for logistics operations, partnering closely with operations leaders, associates, and support teams to ensure workforce readiness, compliance, and engagement. The team focuses on staffing execution, training delivery, associate relations, and policy adherence to support safe, efficient operations. This role plays a critical part in enabling business continuity and developing talent that supports facility and company goals.
What you’ll do:
• Execute HR strategies by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, and ensuring required training is completed
• Oversee daily HR operations including hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll, and associate relations
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, systems, and documentation standards while maintaining confidentiality
• Coordinate and deliver training programs for hourly associates, drivers, and leaders
• Supervise, coach, and develop associates and leaders while promoting safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
What you’ll bring:
• Experience managing HR operations in a logistics, distribution, or transportation environment
• Working knowledge of HR compliance, systems, documentation, and associate relations practices
• Ability to coordinate and facilitate multiple training programs and track completion and deadlines
• Proven capability to coach leaders, monitor performance, and drive development plans
• Strong communication skills for partnering with associates, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 2 years' Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years' supervisory experience, including 1 year's experience managing human resource processes OR 1 year's Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
