Sr Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will lead complex maintenance activities, ensure equipment reliability, and mentor peers to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting activities on AML-1 inspection equipment and associated systems to ensure optimal operational performance and reliability. Collaborate with Automation Technicians to support root cause analysis, fault isolation, and resolution of equipment failures in compliance with GMP and safety requirements.
Independently operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and inspection equipment, including execution of advanced diagnostics, functional testing, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, performance, and compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Utilize reliability and predictive maintenance tools to monitor, analyze, and improve the performance and reliability of inspection equipment, support proactive maintenance strategies and minimizing equipment downtime.

Monitor machinery performance, conduct real-time inspections, and resolve issues per SOPs.
Analyze data to identify trends, perform root cause analysis (e.g., Five Whys), and implement solutions.
Support equipment start-up, ensuring compliance with mechanical design specifications.
Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, and system updates accurately and on time.
Maintain current cGMP training records and adhere to CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, ALCOA+ principles, and company policies.
Develop, revise, and review SOPs, job plans, and work instructions related to maintenance activities or equipment operation
Assist in maintaining an accurate spare parts inventory for assigned equipment/systems.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities in coordination with operations to minimize production impact.
Prioritize tasks based on production needs, deadlines, and customer expectations.
Communicate progress in escalation chat, barriers, and timelines effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., System Owners, PD, Safety, Quality, Manufacturing) and vendors to resolve technical issues.
Identify and escalate recurring issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing maintenance procedures and programs.
Support and train Maintenance Technicians on routine tasks and troubleshooting techniques.
Share expertise and best practices to strengthen team capabilities and operational readiness.
Provide thorough shift handovers to ensure seamless transitions and continuity
Basic technical knowledge of automation and vision inspection systems, including PLC interfaces, sensors, actuators, HMI interactions, camera-based inspection systems, and troubleshooting support for automated manufacturing equipment.

Basic Qualifications:
High school/GED and 2 years of Maintenance experience
OR
Associate’s degree in industrial Mechanic and 6 months of Maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical expertise in manufacturing inspection equipment operations, Maintenance Process, and Automation/Vision System.
Experience in GMP-regulated environments within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries.
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including sensors, low-voltage components, and electronic units.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Familiarity with Automatic Vision Inspection Machine, Packaging Machine, Robotic systems, conveyors, and reliability tools; skilled in using alignment tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant computer applications.
