Join Walmart as a Senior Manager, Corporate Development and M&A, and play a key role in driving the company’s inorganic growth strategy. Walmart’s Corporate Development team is a small, high-performing group that partners with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic M&A initiatives. The team’s mission is to drive value through acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and strategic partnerships, supporting Walmart’s growth and innovation goals. As a Senior Manager, you’ll collaborate with business and functional leaders, as well as external partners, to deliver impactful results. What You'll Do
- Engage with Walmart business leaders to develop M&A strategy, identify and assess potential inorganic growth opportunities, and build consensus.
- Develop and manage relationships with investment banking, private equity, and venture capital investors in retail, digital media, supply chain, and emerging technologies.
- Lead all transaction-related financial modeling and valuation analysis to support deal execution.
- Manage the diligence process by partnering with internal teams (legal, accounting, tax) and external advisors.
- Build presentations for senior leadership that convey effective narratives, outline strategic trade-offs, and drive executive decision-making.
- Support the Integration/Separation team on post-close planning and execution.
- Experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field, with a strong track record in M&A execution.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to analyze complex transactions and present clear recommendations.
- Strong relationship management skills, with experience engaging both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of building compelling narratives for senior executives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on driving results and supporting team success.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
