As a Market Research Data Analyst, you will own the data analysis lifecycle, from ensuring data quality to delivering streamlined analysis. Your work will directly support important decisions and help enhance Apple's market research capabilities by turning raw data into actionable recommendations.
Conduct robust analysis of survey data, including data cleaning, weighting, statistical testing, and generating crosstabs.
Partner closely with Research Managers, Survey Programmers, and Database Marketing teams to execute on the programming, testing, sampling, and distribution of surveys.
Design and run A/B tests to refine questionnaires, ensuring research questions are translated into measurable and effective survey metrics.
Apply advanced analytical expertise to research projects, including designing sampling and weighting strategies to ensure representativeness, identifying trends, and uncovering patterns in the data.
Explore and adopt AI tools to automate workflows and enhance analytical efficiency.
4+ years of experience in customer insights or market research, either at a CPG or consumer technology company or a market research firm.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or human-behavior field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, CS, Psychology) or equivalent experience.
Strong communication and data visualization skills, with the ability to explain complex findings simply and persuasively
Deep expertise in analyzing large-scale survey data using code, with proficiency in: Python (Pandas) or R; SQL for querying large datasets; Jupyter Notebook or similar environments.
Experience with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher, SurveyMonkey).
Solid foundation in statistics as it applies to survey design and analysis.
Experience building dashboard and visualizations in Tableau or other BI tools.
Familiarity with and curiosity about using AI for workflow improvement and data analysis.
Experience working in a global, fast-paced, and matrixed environment.
A proven track record of solving business problems using data-science-drive solutions.
