Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the product strategy and roadmap for price execution capabilities at Whole Foods Market. In this high-visibility individual contributor (IC) role, you will be responsible for ensuring that millions of pricing decisions — from regular price changes to promotions to initial item pricing — is executed accurately and efficiently across all stores and registers. You will own the product roadmap for WFM's core pricing execution tools and workflows.

You will orchestrate Engineering, Pricing Optimization, Merchandising, and Finance to deliver scalable, reliable pricing execution solutions that improve customer trust, reduce manual rework, and strengthen operational efficiency. You will drive clarity in a complex, multi-system pricing landscape, define the metrics that matter, and build the tooling to move them.

The right candidate thrives in ambiguity, is deeply customer-obsessed, and has a proven track record of delivering complex product initiatives that span business strategy, technology, and cross-functional alignment. You are comfortable working with data pipelines, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating complex operational workflows into clear product requirements and roadmaps. You drive clarity where there is ambiguity, earning trust along the way.

Key job responsibilities
1. Own WFM’s vision, strategy, and business priority roadmap for price execution tools and workflows
2. Define and instrument key metrics — Price Accuracy and Price Publishing Latency — and build the tooling and dashboards to track and improve them
3. Define business requirements, success metrics, and launch criteria for pricing execution product features
4. Drive improvements to the end-to-end price publishing pipeline by partnering with Engineering, Pricing Optimization, and Merchandising to reduce latency and eliminate errors
5. Lead cross-functional alignment across Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to deliver pricing execution capabilities at scale
6. Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch and post-launch measurement
7. Identify and prioritize opportunities to automate and scale pricing execution workflows, reducing manual effort and improving pricing consistency
8. Build net-new capabilities — including automated reconciliation and real-time audit tooling — to proactively detect and resolve pricing discrepancies
9. Develop and maintain KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track product performance and business impact
10. Represent the voice of the customer (pricing analysts, system execution team members, and store teams) in all product decisions
11. Lead and contribute to OP planning narratives, QBR/MBR reporting, and executive communications.

A day in the life
You'll spend your time working backward from the needs of pricing analysts and category managers — understanding their pain points, and goals. You'll partner with with PM-Ts to define and prioritize the features that drive the most business value. You'll run alignment meetings with leadership, write crisp product documents, and track progress against goals. No two days are the same — you might be reviewing a UX prototype in the morning, presenting a roadmap to senior leadership in the afternoon, and diving into adoption data in the evening. - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience as a product manager or owner - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
