Fire TV is transforming how millions of customers discover and engage with entertainment content every day. We're bringing TV into the AI era — making personalization the heartbeat of how customers experience their living room, and ensuring every surface they touch feels built for them.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Tech to lead Broad Personalization and Re-engagement on Fire TV. In this role, you will own the strategy and customer experience for how Fire TV organizes and ranks content across the home screen and beyond — the systems that decide what customers see first, what they return to, and what they never have to search for again. You will drive the vision for content orchestration, re-engagement and broad personalization features.
This role requires expertise in personalization and recommendation systems, a strong instinct for customer experience across large catalogs, and a proven track record of shipping ranking and re-engagement products at global scale. You will partner with data science, engineering, design, Prime Video, Alexa, advertising, and content partners to define what "personal" means on Fire TV — and to carry that standard across every surface in the organization.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the long-term product vision and strategy for organic page content ranking across Fire TV surfaces.
- Hold the bar for content row ranking across the org — establish best practices, lead cross-team reviews, and ensure new surfaces meet a consistent quality standard before they ship.
- Partner with BI on measurement frameworks for content surface performance, ensuring we have the right signals to evaluate ranking quality and customer impact.
- Lead the strategy for the re-engagement features and the technical system that collects watch history and other signals from partners.
- Ensure broad personalization features scale globally with appropriate localization, closing the gap between US and international customer experiences.
- Translate complex strategies into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, technical complexity, performance, and business impact.
- Own key metrics including re-engagement, content discovery success rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay at the forefront of AI/ML advancements in ranking, recommendation systems, and content intelligence.
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
