The Corporate Communications Manager is a key contributor on Lucid’s growing Corporate Communications team, supporting the development and execution of corporate communications initiatives that amplify the company’s vision, milestones, and leadership voice across earned, owned, and internal channels.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, this role works will also work closely with the Product and Internal Communications teams, Marketing, and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent messaging, strong coordination, and high-quality execution. This is a hands-on role for a communications professional who excels at turning strategy into action, acting with urgency, and can manage details in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This role has the opportunity to be based in Newark, CA. , Casa Grande, AZ, or Southfield, MI.
You Will:
- Support the development and execution of corporate communications plans for key announcements, milestones, partnerships, and initiatives, ensuring alignment across audiences, channels, and timelines.
- Draft and edit press releases, blog posts, executive talking points, social posts, briefing materials, and other communications content in partnership with the Corporate Communications team.
- Maintain and help coordinate corporate communications calendars, supporting alignment across earned, owned, and internal channels.
- Partner with the broader Communications team to support media relations efforts, including news monitoring, background research, and coordination around announcements and responses.
- Support communications for strategic partnerships and collaborations, helping ensure partner narratives align with Lucid’s broader corporate positioning.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Social, Legal, HR, External Affairs and other cross-functional teams to support accurate, consistent messaging and media-focused activities.
- Identify opportunities to extend corporate narratives and thought leadership into broader cultural, lifestyle, and brand-building moments in support of Lucid’s positioning.
- Support measurement and reporting efforts by helping track coverage, campaign activity, and key metrics, and contributing to post-initiative insights and learnings.
- Own specific projects or workstreams end to end under the guidance of senior communications leadership, managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
You Bring:
- 4–6 years of experience in communications, PR, or a related field, either agency-side or in-house.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience creating content and statements for executive, media, and stakeholder audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Comfort working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
- A data-aware mindset, with experience using metrics and insights to inform communications work.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus: automotive/EV, consumer tech/electronics, software, travel, or transportation.
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
