Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
We are the Conversational Applied AI team. We build voice and multimodal interfaces for machine learning systems across a variety of industries and platforms. We partner closely with Cloud AI and Google DeepMind. Our first two products are in the food and automotive space.
In this role, you will manage our Automotive AI Agent Platform working closely with engineers and other product managers (PMs) that are building this product. This team is collaborating closely with Android Automotive team and Geo to create a framework and voice assistant offering to allow car companies to have their own branded, first party, voice and multimodal assistant experiences.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Take on product ownership of the automotive AI agent platform and product.
- Collaborate with our engineering team on delivering our tooling and software development kit (SDKs) for auto original equipment manufacturer (OEMs).
- Work directly with auto makers to understand their requirements and position our solutions.
- Define the go forward roadmap with where we should invest on new models, tools, and features, working closely with our partners in the Android Auto and Geo teams.
- Work directly with internal partners to advocate for our use cases and bring new features from research to customers.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in automotive industry or with automotive products.
- Experience working with enterprise customers and delivering enterprise software.
- Experience working in a product role, directly with engineers.
- Experience in speech, text-to-speech (TTS), or ML.
- Experience managing a technical product and delivering features.
