The Enterprise Productivity Applications organization is dedicated to enabling Amazon's workforce with world-class productivity tools and services. We operate in a fast-paced environment where innovation, customer obsession, and operational excellence are paramount.
Key job responsibilities
As Director of Enterprise Productivity Applications, you will:
- Lead and develop a geographically distributed team of over 100 Builders and Technical Program Managers
- Oversee a strategic portfolio of more than 2 dozen tier-1 services critical to Amazon's global operations
- Drive the ongoing migration strategy from legacy services to modern platforms including M365 and Zoom
- Manage service delivery, reliability, and innovation across our productivity application ecosystem
- Partner with stakeholders across Amazon to understand business needs and deliver scalable solutions
- Set technical vision and strategy for enterprise productivity services
- Build and maintain strong operational excellence practices across all services
- Drive cost optimization while maintaining high service quality and availability - 10+ years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering, or technical program management
- Experience leading large-scale, distributed engineering teams
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical programs and services at scale
- Strong understanding of enterprise productivity applications and SaaS platforms
- Experience with cloud technologies and modern software development practices - Experience managing globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Background in enterprise IT services, productivity applications, or collaboration platforms
- Experience with large-scale migrations and technology transformations
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all levels
- Experience with M365, Zoom, Slack, or similar enterprise platforms
- Track record of building high-performing, diverse teams
- Experience operating services at Amazon scale (1M+ users)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
