A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a Design Program Manager, you will orchestrate the design process, leading and organizing activities that drive business outcomes. You will serve as a bridge between the Industrial Design team and cross-functional partners, including UX, research, engineering, product management, and operations. In this role, you will combine project management skills with a passion for industrial design and user experience to help your team design how users interact with our products. You will work cross-functionally and collaborate with executives, managers, designers and engineering teams to plan projects, define milestones, assign resources, assess risks, and help projects meet deadlines. You will also manage all project-related communications to team members, leaders and other stakeholders.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
