The Conversational Artificial Intelligence Core Infrastructure team's mission is to build infrastructure, tools, and features that enable delivering unified, efficient, scalable products with accelerated go-to-market.
In this role, you will build centralized infrastructure solutions and products for enabling conversational artificial intelligence product teams including agent assist, dialogflow, and insights to advance in compliance, customer onboarding and integrations, feature development, go-to-market, and scaling.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work with engineering leads, product manager, and user experience to define the direction of the team.
- Work with engineering leads to define project ownership for the sub-teams and the Waterloo site.
- Drive the development, launch, and landing of infrastructure projects.
- Foster collaboration between infrastructure team leads and partner team team leads.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with one or more of the following: speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
- 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience designing and developing infrastructure, and disambiguating product feature needs to storage infrastructure needs.
- Experience managing decisions across cross-organization and cross-team stakeholders.
- Experience establishing partnerships and managing short-term and long-term goals for the team.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++ and Kotlin.
- Ability to manage and deliver testing and reliable storage solutions in changing environments.
