Engineering Project Manager, Apps SDLC

The position requires an individual who gets into the details, has excellent organizational skills, understands software development, and has expertise working with Software Engineering, Design, QA, and cross-functionally with various organizations to manage and track deliverables.

Expect to be hands-on and engrossed in product details, while also being challenged to innovate on new features, strategize new processes, and build relationships to achieve results.

Coordinate with development teams and cross-functional teams on release tasks and ensure compliance with privacy, legal, and security.
Work with Software Engineering, Design, QA, and cross-functionally with various organizations to manage and track deliverables.
Schedule and facilitate meetings, including taking notes.
Build relationships to achieve results.
Be hands-on in product details and requirements, providing strategic guidance to teams building innovative new features.

4+ years of experience in an Engineering Project Management capacity, with a proven track record of delivering software and services through the full project lifecycle, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
3+ years of working closely with Software Engineering, Design and QA to ship applications and/or frameworks and collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
Confident to take on technical challenges and work with various teams, building and managing relationships to navigate delivery dependencies.
Versatile problem solver equipped with a strong analytical approach to various challenges in complex environments.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to filter and distill meaningful information to the right audience.
Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation.
Adept at creative and critical thinking with the ability to deconstruct problems, resolve conflicts, and lead the teams to solutions.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience.
Experience and knowledge of post-production video editing software and technology.

The Apps team is in search of a high-energy and ambitious Engineering Project Manager. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering new features for some of Apple’s most popular applications. The base pay range for this role is between $134,800 and $245,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
