Software Engineering Manager (Supply Chain Solutions), Supply Chain Integration

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled engineers and collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
We are seeking a thoughtful and driven leader with strong technical depth and a commitment to operational excellence. In this role, you will foster a culture of collaboration, challenge ideas constructively, and guide your team in delivering high-quality outcomes. You will also partner with leadership to shape and execute a long-term strategic vision that advances Apple’s supply chain capabilities.

Lead all aspects of software engineering, including design, development, integration, analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers by setting clear expectations and providing consistent, actionable feedback
Participate in design reviews and technical trade-off discussions to maintain a high engineering bar
Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Drive delivery accountability and execution against commitments
Remove blockers and create an environment where the team can do their best work
Communicate team progress, risks, and needs to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Collaborate effectively with partner teams across the organization

10+ years of experience building end to end scalable enterprise software systems
3–5 years of engineering management experience leading teams and driving delivery
Strong expertise in data engineering, compute/database systems, and modern web development
Proven experience delivering AI-powered solutions at scale
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Passion for problem-solving, innovation, and emerging technologies
Experience working in supply chain or enterprise business systems
Experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, Python, Django, FastAPI, and Docker
Strong expertise in designing and working with relational, non-relational, and graph database systems at scale
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts, trade-offs, and impact to diverse audiences, including senior leadership
Strong commitment to mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of learning and growth
