We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the central financial operations for Theatrical, owning slate-level consolidation, the monthly/quarterly close process, global accruals, and reporting accuracy across the theatrical portfolio. This is the connective tissue of our finance team — ensuring all financial outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with Studio FP&A and Corporate Accounting standards. The ideal candidate will combine strong controllership discipline with strategic financial acumen to drive optimal investment decisions across our theatrical marketing and distribution campaigns.
Key job responsibilities
Slate Consolidate & Close Leadership
• Own end-to-end slate consolidation across the theatrical portfolio, including management of title Ultimates for the theatrical window
• Lead the monthly and quarterly close process for the central theatrical finance team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Oversee global accruals management, ensuring completeness and alignment with Corporate Accounting policies
• Drive reporting accuracy and serve as the primary quality gate for all theatrical financial outputs
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Drive strategic financial planning and analysis for global marketing and distribution plans, ensuring optimal ROI
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
• Works in parallel with Film Leads, who manage title-level financial strategy for their respective slates
• Partner with international team ensure the international forecasts are properly integrated into global consolidations and aligned with Studio and Corporate Accounting frameworks
Strategic Partnership & Reporting
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on performance metrics and market analysis
• Collaborate with global marketing teams to align financial strategies with business objectives
• Partner with Accounting and Studio FP&A teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting
• Serve as the primary finance liaison for audit requests, reporting inquiries, and compliance matters
Initiatives & Process Improvement
• Oversee and drive key initiatives including AI workflow enhancements, theatrical RCT program, and other data-driven efficiency projects
• Design and implement scalable financial processes for theatrical operations
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Demonstrated expertise in financial close processes, accruals management, and consolidation
- Proficiency in financial systems implementation and management (e.g.,
SAP,
Oracle, Essbase) and experience driving system implementations or enhancements
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience leading automation, AI, or data-driven transformation initiatives within a finance function
- Experience with box office reporting, title-level
P&L management, and slate forecasting
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
