Prime Video (PV) brings together the world's best creators with the most passionate communities in a way that no other entertainment brand can. One app. Endless entertainment. We're the home of exclusive live sports—Thursday Night Football, NBA—alongside distinctive, critically-acclaimed originals like The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and The Summer I Turned Pretty, and films like Air, Saltburn, The Idea of You, and Road House. Add in the latest in-theater releases to rent or buy, 100+ premium subscriptions like HBO Max and Peacock, and live linear viewing—all in one destination. But what makes Prime Video singular isn't just the breadth of what's available—it's how it all connects. Audiences move fluidly from watching a live game to renting a documentary about the player, from streaming an original series to buying the book it's based on, from discovering a new channel to replaying a live sports moment in real time. That multi-dimensional experience—powered by the connection to the Amazon family of brands and built by a passionate, diverse global team—makes Prime Video the place where creators, athletes, and storytellers of all kinds build their future, and where fans never have to leave to go deeper into the things they love.
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Marketing Manager, Service Strategy & GTM, who will own the marketing strategies that drive customer clarity across Prime Video's full service—originals, exclusive live sports, AVOD, premium subscriptions, rentals and purchases, and live linear viewing. In this pivotal role, you'll own end-to-end service-level marketing strategy through the lens of customers' needs, motivators, and barriers, advocating for an audience-first approach. You'll orchestrate cohesive, durable messaging across all customer touchpoints and serve as the strategic bridge across key cross-functional stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of consumer and product marketing expertise, a proven track record of earning trust through cross-functional leadership, and a data-driven approach to decision-making that demonstrates strong judgment and high conviction. You'll develop scalable strategies, messaging architecture, positioning frameworks, and multi-year strategic roadmaps that make the full breadth of Prime Video's service compelling and clear to customers. This role offers the opportunity to shape Prime Video's service-level presence—combining strategic thinking with disciplined execution in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end service marketing strategies and execution, coordinating across Business Strategy, Portfolio Planning, O&O Merchandising, Product, Studios, Sports and additional cross-functional teams – while operating with a high degree of autonomy to set direction, make prioritization calls, and drive outcomes without waiting for consensus
Develop and maintain comprehensive messaging architecture that articulates Prime Video’s value propositions across the full service, ensuring clarity, cohesiveness, and audience resonance at every customer touchpoint
Lead service-led campaign strategies and GTM deliverables (briefs, positioning, go-to-market plans) while consulting on campaigns led by partner teams to ensure service-level coherence and limit customer confusion
Own marketing readiness for service evolution—ensuring that offerings are absorbed into the messaging architecture and customer-facing narrative before launch, not after
Drive data-informed focus of service initiatives based on audience needs, barriers, and behavioral signals—translating research into strategic recommendations that influence cross-functional roadmaps and investment decisions
Build scalable strategy frameworks and templates that enable organizational consistency, reduce time-to-market, and provide clear strategic direction to stakeholders navigating competing priorities
Synthesize complex service strategies into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership—building the strategic artifacts that earn alignment and drive decision-making at the highest levels of the organization
Translate strategy into actionable direction at every level—from executive-level investment cases to team-level frameworks that make it clear how individual workstreams ladder to the broader service vision
Drive fast, effective cross-functional decision-making -- knowing when to push for speed and while to hold the line on customer experience integrity
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Demonstrated expertise in brand or service positioning, messaging architecture, and customer journey mapping
