OSS) within
SCOT and are looking for a Data Engineer to join us!
OSS designs and builds systems that measure and manage Amazon’s supplier capabilities, identify and
react to supply disruptions, and prioritizes inbound freight for our global network.
OSS software is used by every country Amazon services, and is a critical link to ensuring Amazon offers the products our customers want, at the lowest possible cost. Key job responsibilities
- Build and optimize data pipelines that process large-scale supply chain datasets, enabling real-time visibility into inventory movement and vendor performance
- Design and maintain scalable data warehousing solutions that serve as the foundation for business-critical reporting and analytics
- Harness the power of Generative AI to accelerate data source discovery, streamline pipeline development, and build intelligent agents that help Business Intelligence Engineers and Scientists uncover emerging opportunities
- Create self-service data capabilities and AI-integrated platforms that empower stakeholders to answer key business questions independently
- Partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust, well-architected data solutions

- 1+ years of data engineering experience
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with
Redshift,
Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
- Experience with
data modeling, warehousing and building
ETL pipelines
- Experience with one or more query language (e.g.,
SQL, PL/
SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL,
Scala)
- Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g.,
Python, KornShell)
- Experience with big data technologies such as:
Hadoop, Hive,
Spark, EMR
- Experience with any
ETL tool like, Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage, etc.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
