Job Description
Join Gilead’s HIV Franchise Marketing team and play a key role in supporting the development of impactful personal promotional content for Community Liaison (CL) field teams. As a Senior Product Manager, you will help translate brand strategy into practical, field-ready materials that enable meaningful engagement with allied healthcare professionals and community-based providers.
This role is focused on building and executing community marketing initiatives that support Gilead’s HIV portfolio, ensuring CL teams are equipped with high-quality, compliant resources to effectively communicate with the HIV workforce. You will contribute to the creation of promotional tools, support Plan of Action (POA) development, and help prioritize efforts across multiple therapies.
Working closely with Sales, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Analytics, you will ensure all content is aligned to brand strategy and meets rigorous approval standards. You will also partner with external agencies to deliver materials that are both strategically sound and executionally strong.
With a strong emphasis on collaboration, execution, and field support, this role offers the opportunity to directly shape how Gilead’s HIV therapies are communicated at the community level—advancing the company’s mission to improve the lives of patients and ending the HIV epidemic.

As a Senior Product Manager – HIV Community Marketing position on the marketing team, you will report to the Senior Director, HIV Franchise Marketing. This role will execute the community marketing strategy and build materials for Community Liaisons (CLs) teams and the HIV Workforce.
Develops and leads key elements of the Allied Healthcare Professionsl (AHCP) personal and non-personal promotional brand strategy aligned to the priortization and brand campaigns.
Supports the build, execution and sustainment of the Plan of Action(POA) for the CL field team inclusive of the 4 products in the HIV Treatment/Prevention porfolioand develop the prioritization for the 5 HIV therapies in Gilead’s portfolio.
Drives execution through the management of and partnership with external agencies, internal cross-functional partners, and field CL team. Regularly measures the success of initiatives.
Implements product promotional communication strategy for AHCP promotions, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy
Assist in the creation of personal and non-personal promotion tactics utilized to drive brand/franchise preference
Assist in the development of unbranded disease education for for key congresses, events, local/regional marketing strategies and CL team
Gains approval for marketing materials through an internal review process, including management reviews and Med-Legal-Reg. Secures final production.
Works cross-functionally with Sales, Data Insights & Analytics, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, Commercial Learning & Development and other key internal stakeholders.
Analyzes complex brand opportunities and provides logical recommendations; leads any required action planning.
Provides tactical and strategic input on key planning teams such as promotional campaigns, omnichannel marketing executions, and unbranded disease education campaigns
Supports internal CL team meetings
Ensures that all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements
Establish Key Performance Indicators, regularly tracking and measuring the success of initiatives and tactics
Manages aspects of the non-personal promotions marketing budget and project timelines.
Establishes close working relationships with personal promotion marketing colleagues to ensure synergies across the AHCP marketing mix
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and Eight Years’ Experience
OR
Masters' Degree and Six Years’ Experience
OR
Ph.D.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of experience.
A demonstrated record of successful pharmaceutical/biotech marketing progression/experience
A proven ability to leverage market insights from multiple data sources, including market research, advisory boards, and field force input, to uncover needs and develop opportunities
Experience with marketing strategy, sales, and regulatory policies and practices
Ability to conceive, develop, and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans
Experience in working on category leading brands and omni/multi-channel marketing a plus
Established ability in the execution of multiple/complex initiatives within the marketing mix, which require tactful cross-functional execution
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on developing marketing materials.
Ability to successfully work with external agencies, including advertising, media, and medical education vendors, to develop initiatives and materials.
Precious experience managing budgets, with a focus on expense budget planning and tracking
