Mechanical Engineers at Bright Machines sit at the intersection of hardware, software, and advanced automation—building the physical systems that power our intelligent factories.
They design with intent and build with urgency, owning everything from precision components to complex subsystems that integrate seamlessly into our robotics platforms. The work is hands-on and deeply collaborative, partnering with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to take ideas from concept to production-ready systems.
At Bright Machines, mechanical engineers don’t just create parts—they solve real manufacturing challenges. They think in systems, move quickly, and iterate in the real world, where performance, reliability, and scalability matter.
This is a role for engineers who want to see their work come to life on the factory floor and play a direct part in redefining how modern manufacturing gets done.
Innovative Design: Create components and complete products from scratch
Detailed Documentation: Produce detailed drawings and maintain comprehensive product dossiers to allow fast and efficient turnaround from design to deployment
System Integration: Lead mechanical system integration efforts and conduct rigorous testing to guarantee intended functionality
Proof of Concept (PoC): Drive the PoC process from concept to design to implementation, showcasing your creativity and problem-solving abilities
Performance Evaluation: Assess the final product's performance, reliability, and safety to ensure it meets our stringent quality standards
Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with your team and subcontractors to maximize project success
