We are seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to join the Amazon LEO team. You will be responsible for development of platform and automation framework/tools to empower the test of system health across a constellation of over 3000 satellites.

* Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical software for LEO.
* Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems and data pipelines..
* Work on initiatives building automations on LEO Test platform and infrastructure and help implement best practices for software development.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems, or experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, macros, SQL, visualization tools - Tableau, Quicksight, etc.
- 3+ years of systems development experience
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience in system design
- Knowledge of data analysis languages (e.g., R, Stata, Python, etc.) or other statistical software

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
