How you will make an impact:
The Florence, South Carolina sites sit in the network of the Small Molecule API business within the Pharma Services Group, which offers customers searching for customer solutions for taking their molecules from Early Phase Development to Commercial Production.
Seeking a Finance Director who will provide finance and business partnering leadership to the site leadership team located in our South Carolina network. This role will lead a finance and accounting team of 7 members and be the primary business partner for the VP/GM of the region, as well as Operations Leaders. This role will ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and timely and accurate financial reporting, consistent with USGAAP and local reporting requirements. In addition, the position holder will provide valuable decision support, identify and implement operational improvement opportunities and develop a strong finance team. The position holder will be key in developing and supporting sponsorship key long term capital investment decisions within the Strategic Planning horizon.
What you will do:
• Drive AOP / QBR / STRAP, in a matrixed financial forecast, ensure financial decisions support company STRAP / AOP and current market environment
• Communicate results to the broader organization and ensure alignment on key financial goals
• Develop and lead analytical methods for exploratory and explanatory business insights
• Lead financial modeling for key investment and STRAP objectives
• Accelerate decision making via development and utilizing of visualization tools
• Develop operational metrics / contingencies
• Recommend financial risk mgt strategies / perform market impact analysis, articulate and demonstrate knowledge of key profit drivers for the business, understand drivers and market forces and impact on future business prospects
• Build and develop a high performing team
How you will get here:
Requirements
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive finance in complex global organizations, including management roles
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills are required to collaborate with various partners.
• Able to deliver high quality effective presentation and understands and deploys best tools / methods to effectively communicate complex topics
• Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done
