Amazon’s Privacy organization is looking for a resourceful, innovative and driven Executive Assistant (EA) to partner closely with senior leadership and provide onsite support for its VP at Amazon’s Headquarters in Arlington, VA. We are looking for a true strategic partner, who will provide proactive and collaborative assistance to the organization’s leadership team by anticipating problems, creating contingency plans and taking effective action with appropriate urgency in response to situations that require quick turnaround. This role will serve as a “Lead EA”, so experience guiding administrative teams, driving best practices and providing mentorship is a big plus.
As an Amazon EA, you will work in a team environment, building effective working relationships and partnering successfully with leaders of all levels inside and outside of the organization. It’s a dynamic and multi-faceted role that requires the capacity to own a variety of projects, many with a high degree of visibility and impact and as such, requires strong integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, professionalism and a keen eye for detail.
You will be an effective communicator with the ability to deliver results across multiple objectives simultaneously- often under ambiguous circumstances and competing deadlines. Other critical keys to success in this role are a calm and unflappable demeanor and great sense of humor.
This role requires five (5) days a week in office.
Key job responsibilities
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complex executive calendar management with detailed scheduling across multiple high-level calendars
- Exec preparation, including detailed coordination of reading materials and background information to ensure executive readiness for daily events
- Coordination and planning of domestic and international travel, including organizing trip agendas and local logistics
- Completing expense reports, purchase orders, and managing corporate card purchases; participation in budget planning and tracking as needed
- Planning and coordinating team activities and events
- Serving as liaison between leadership and team members across multiple geographic regions
- Managing other core administrative activities (space planning, new-hire onboarding, organizational charts, supply ordering)
- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience as a program manager

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
