Amazon Heavy & Bulky Logistics (
AMXL) is seeking an experienced supply chain manager to drive new initiatives and process integration across the last mile delivery network. This role will own the development, standardization, and execution of
cross-functional programs — including network expansion, delivery model diversification, and supply chain standardization — designed to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience. As an individual contributor, this person will influence across multiple teams while maintaining deep expertise in last mile supply chain operations, acting as a strategic connector between planning, execution, and program delivery.
AMXL consolidates the end-to-end supply chain: strategy, data analytics, technology, operations, warehousing, order fulfillment, transportation, and delivery.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the identification, development, and integration of new last mile initiatives spanning network expansion, delivery model diversification, and third-party integration programs across the
AMXL network.
Drive supply chain standardization by establishing governance frameworks, standardizing processes, and aligning methodologies and tools with best practices across the organization.
Influence
cross-functional teams as an IC — partnering with planning, operations, technology, and execution stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic goals and key metrics.
Retrieve, analyze, and manage large datasets using Excel,
SQL, and other data systems to support initiative scoping, planning, and scenario analysis.
Execute scenario analysis across short-term, mid-term, and HVE horizons using standardized modeling frameworks to evaluate initiative impact.
Build and maintain integration roadmaps that ensure new programs are sequenced, resourced, and aligned with broader network strategy.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for initiative health, adoption, and operational impact.
Provide governance and status communication to senior leaders across business functions, including milestones, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
Document modeling logic, assumptions, processes, and outputs to ensure clarity, reproducibility, and continuity across the team.
A day in the life
- Review execution signals and performance data to understand where new initiatives and integration efforts diverge from plan.
- Build or refresh scenarios to evaluate demand, capacity, speed, and risk tradeoffs related to new delivery programs and network expansion.
- Collaborate with planning, execution, and program partners to interpret results, validate assumptions, and drive alignment on next steps.
- Engage with
cross-functional stakeholders to communicate initiative status, remove blockers, and influence prioritization decisions.
- Prepare clear scenario outputs or program insights to support weekly planning alignment, leadership reviews, or upcoming HVEs.
- Maintain documentation and refine processes based on new learnings, feedback, and evolving organizational needs.
