Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Plan, develop, and maintain schedules for predictive, preventive, corrective/reactive, and emergency maintenance activities.
Assign and prioritize work orders based on operational requirements, maintenance priority, estimated labor hours, technician, vendor availability, and equipment criticality.
Coordinate maintenance activities with internal technicians, contractors, and external vendors to ensure timely and effective execution of work.
Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and site leadership to plan and schedule equipment downtime in a manner that maximizes equipment availability and production efficiency.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of required forms, permits, and notifications to internal stakeholders, including IT, EHS, Engineering and Quality, as necessary to perform maintenance work.
Maintain and administer the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset records, preventive maintenance schedules, task lists, and related master data.
Promote and ensure effective utilization of the full functionality of the CMMS system.
Analyze maintenance data and prepare reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance programs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency within maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
Review work requests and work orders for scope, completeness, and clarity, and follow up as necessary to resolve deficiencies.
Ensure all work orders are properly documented, including as-found conditions, work performed, as-left conditions, and identification of additional corrective actions.
Support deployment of Medtronic Maintenance Excellence initiatives, including participation in kaizen events, continuous improvement efforts, and providing data or reports as required.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, engineering, maintenance procedures, applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
Provide CMMS training and support for new hires and maintenance personnel.
Support quality and regulatory audits by providing maintenance records, reports, and CMMS-related documentation as requested.
Provide feedback to site leadership and technicians to support the accuracy and optimization of spare parts inventory and bill of materials (BOMs).
Collaborate regularly with Spare Parts Coordinator and backfill duties when required
Note: Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent , vocational or technical education or certification .
Nice to Have - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using a CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo or similar).
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, SOPs, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, aerospace, etc.).
Background in GMP, ISO, FDA, or EHS-regulated environments.
Familiarity with maintenance pm in cleanroom environment
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose improvements.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
