Job description
In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$187,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Be a primary bridge between internal teams and global partners, evolving traditional vendor relationships into alliances focused on long-term health and AI technical proficiency.
- Lead the transition from legacy manual processes to tech-forward operations, driving the end-to-end rollout of Generative AI, LLM-powered tools, and automated workflows across the supply chain.
- Lead structured business reviews (weekly business review (WBRs)/monthly business review (MBRs) quaterly business review (QBRs) and leverage AI-enhanced analytics to monitor service level agreement (SLAs), quality scores (service quality evaluation (SQE)), and on-time delivery (vOTD).
- Partner cross-functionally with Content Strategy and Program Management to modernize intake and scoping, ensuring the content ecosystem is built for high-volume global scalability.
- Oversee the full financial life cycle including budget forecasting, statement of work (SOW) management, and invoice reconciliation to ensure cost optimization through automation and efficiency gains.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in operations, business management, or vendor management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in vendor management, content strategy, production, or multimedia operations.
- Experience in managing operations, with the ability to lead planning and make high-stakes decisions in a changing, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent thinking and structured problem-solving abilities, utilizing project management tools to streamline workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks effectively.
- Excellent investigative skills with proficiency in business intelligence platform or similar data analysis tools to monitor quality assurance and translate datasets into actionable insights.
