Job description
The Global Business Consulting team (GBC), identifies business growth opportunities in strategic partners’ app and game products that are published on Google Play platform. The team delivers strategic consultations enabling developers to identify optimum strategies to capitalize on the opportunities through Google Play ecosystem metrics and insight tool. The team accomplishes this via extended collaboration with developers in areas such as monetization, user acquisition/re-engagement, game economies, subscriptions, and more. GBC leverages domain expertise to transform data into information and presents its findings to a variety of both internal and external executive level stakeholders.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 - $177,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Analyze both game and apps's performance to identify areas for optimization & growth and leverage internal AI/ML tools to deliver insights at scale to all Play Ecosystems’ developers
- Create and deliver presentations which communicate growth opportunities to product, analytics and executive leadership
Provide thought leadership through the creation and delivery of original strategy consulting materials enabling optimal capitalization on growth opportunities
Partner with developers during extended consulting engagements to assist with designing, executing, iterating and quantifying the impact of product improvements
Provide executive leaders with critical analysis and data-driven recommendations on high-priority topics to influence key decisions and resolve operational inefficiencies
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sales Operations-related occupation.
- Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sales Operations -related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
- Analysis of complex data to distill insights for actionable recommendations or Data synthesis to generate business insights and strategic recommendations
- Analysis of business models, KPIs, and OKRs to identify strategic initiatives or Business performance analysis to inform corporate strategy
- Managing project scope, timelines, and risks for multi-stakeholder initiatives or End-to-end project management for strategic initiatives
- Presenting business cases to senior leadership for project approval or Executive influencing for strategic buy-in
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning workflow deployment
