In this role, you will work to understand usage of our API (both internally at Apple, and by developers at large), identify problems and needs, and work collaboratively to design and build answers to these. You will do the same with the architecture and utility components of the system processes that back our SDK frameworks, working as a system software expert. You will collaborate internally with domain specialists in positioning science and work multi-functionally to support app teams building new features with Core Location.
You have 2 years of development experience in C or C++
You have a deep understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization
You're experienced in overall operating system design and implementation
You have a BS or MS in CS, EE, or related
You have development experience in Objective-C and Swift
You're experienced in designing and then supporting API's
You're motivated by simplicity and reliability
You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
You handle conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise
You enjoy taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
