As the Principal Global Marketing Manager, INVOS™ Regional Oximetry and ARGOS™ Cardiac Output Monitor, you’ll own the product from commercialization to grave driving commercialization across channels and regions of our hemodynamic monitoring portfolio—a market-leading set of support healthcare providers solutions to guide intraoperative care to reduce long-term and costly complications after surgery. A Day in the Life
Portfolio Strategy and Value Proposition
Lead global portfolio strategy for the INVOS and ARGOS platforms, including value proposition development, positioning, pricing strategy, and lifecycle management to drive sustained market growth.
Shape and communicate compelling portfolio value propositions and messaging frameworks that resonate across key customer segments and global markets.
Serve as the global product and portfolio expert, enabling regional teams through training, insights, and strategic guidance.
Global Market Development and Evidence Strategy
Drive global market development strategies to expand adoption, address clinical and market barriers, and penetrate new markets.
Partner with Medical Affairs to advance clinical evidence generation, KOL engagement, education programs, and advocacy initiatives that support market growth.
Marketing Strategy and Commercial Execution
Own the annual global marketing plan, aligning strategy, initiatives, and investments with business priorities and regional market opportunities.
Partner with regional teams to translate strategy into impactful marketing campaigns, programs, and customer engagement initiatives.
Lead global product launch strategy and execution, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment and successful regional implementation.
Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence
Generate actionable market, customer, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Global Alignment and Cross‑Functional Leadership
Drive global alignment through regional forums, communications, and Quarterly Business Reviews, ensuring strong collaboration and best practice sharing.
Lead cross-functional initiatives and key projects, provide clear communication to leadership and proactively managing risks to ensure successful delivery.
Forecasting and Portfolio Operations
Oversee demand forecasting and portfolio availability in partnership with supply chain and planning teams to support commercial execution.
Travel
Global travel to support the needs of the business. Approximately 1x per month (20%)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 10 years with bachelor’s or 8 years with advanced degree with relevant experience in product management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or advanced degree
Demonstrated experience in global product marketing within the medical device, healthcare technology, or life sciences industry.
Proven track record leading successful product launches, commercialization strategies, and market development initiatives.
Experience developing global product strategies and lifecycle management plans, including launch planning and post‑market portfolio optimization.
Ability to translate clinical and technical product capabilities into compelling customer value propositions and differentiated market messaging.
Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams including R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Health Economics, and Sales to drive product strategy and market adoption.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead complex initiatives within a global, matrixed organization.
Strong business acumen with experience using market insights, competitive intelligence, and analytics to inform strategy and investment decisions.
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience presenting strategy, business cases, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Experience in medical device sales, field marketing, or clinical roles (e.g., hemodynamics nurse or clinical specialist) is a plus.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms to support customer engagement and commercial execution.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
