This role is a leadership position at the intersection of strategic foresight and creative execution. You will work with research teams to understand and articulate the future capabilities, benefits, and risks of AI. You will then oversee the creation of experiences, simulations, and prototypes to help external and internal stakeholders across domains of interest —such as Robotics, Creativity, Economics and Multi-Agent Systems —co-imagine and prepare for a future with Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $330,000-$367,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work with our research, responsibility, policy, and AGI teams to anticipate the implications of AI and AGI across multiple domains.
- Lead the creation of moments, experiences, and artefacts, including simulations using Google generative AI to imagine AI-enabled futures in partnership with key external constituencies in these domains.
- Develop and manage high profile relationships with key influencers through a variety of means, including on-and off-record convenings.
- Support transition of incubated initiatives to other Google DeepMind, Google, or external partners as appropriate.
Minimum qualifications:
- 15 years of experience within the technology industry, with 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in Product Management, Marketing, or Engineering to develop narrative assets.
- 5 years of experience managing external relationships with policymakers, thought leaders, or journalists.
- Experience managing "0 to 1" projects, from specification to delivery.
- Experience with generative AI and one priority domain (e.g., Robotics, Creativity, Economics, Multi-Agent Systems).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in a technical, strategic or creative field.
- Experience facilitating high-level strategic dialogue at global summits or roundtables.
- Experience anticipating “what’s next” in technology and translating that to non-technical global stakeholders.
- Experience rallying cross-functional internal teams to work collaboratively on projects.
