We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfilment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.
Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.
Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Matrix Partners, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).
Founded in 2023 by Harvard alumni with a shared passion for music, Suno has quickly grown to 200 employees while empowering over 100 million people to create original songs. In 2025, the company raised a $250 million Series C to continue building innovative products that amplify creativity and imagination.
We’re looking for a Director of Social Media to define and lead Suno’s voice across every platform our community lives on. This role sits at the intersection of brand, culture, and creativity—owning the strategy and creative output that turns Suno into an always-on presence in the conversations shaping music and online culture.
In this role, you’ll build and lead a best-in-class social team—social managers, creators, editors, and community leads—who ship sharp, culturally-fluent content every day. You’ll own organic strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and the next platform nobody’s talking about yet, partnering closely with Brand, Editorial Content, Creative, Product Marketing, Comms, and Artist Relations to translate Suno’s ambition into moments people actually talk about.
This is a role for someone who moves at the speed of culture and knows how to build a social presence that feels earned rather than engineered. You see social as a creative medium, not a distribution channel—and you know how to balance brand craft with the scrappy, reactive energy that makes a brand break through. You’re equally comfortable writing the brief, greenlighting the edit, and jumping on a trend yourself whenever it hits.

Own Suno’s organic social strategy across all platforms—TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Threads, among emerging platforms—setting the vision, audiences, pillars, and cadence that drive growth, engagement, and cultural relevance.
Develop and lead Suno’s social team, hiring and developing community managers in-house creators, editors, who ship high volumes of craft-driven, culturally-fluent content.
Define Suno’s social voice and creative point of view, ensuring every post, video, reply, and reaction feels unmistakably Suno—playful, musical, irreverent where it counts, and deeply in tune with how people talk online.
Lead in-house content production for social, from concepting to shoot to edit—partnering with Brand, Creative, and Content teams to create formats, franchises, and one-off moments that generate conversation.
Move at the speed of culture, identifying trends, memes, and cultural moments Suno should show up in—and the freedom to ship reactive content within hours.
Build a creator and community ecosystem, collaborating with artists, creators, and superfans to extend Suno’s reach through authentic partnerships, UGC programs, and community-led storytelling.
Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Product Marketing, Comms, Artist Relations, and Growth to align social with launches, campaigns, partnerships, and always-on brand narratives.
Own social KPIs and performance reporting, setting measurable goals for growth, engagement, share of voice, and sentiment—and using data to sharpen strategy over time.
Develop platform-native strategies, understanding the distinct mechanics, formats, and audiences of each channel and tailoring content accordingly rather than cross-posting.
Establish and evolve social operations, including content calendars, approval workflows, community management playbooks, and crisis response protocols.
Champion social as a creative medium, pushing the company to think bigger, weirder, and more culturally ambitious about what Suno can do online.
8–10+ years of social media experience, with meaningful time spent leading social at a consumer brand, music platform, entertainment company, creator-driven company, or culture-forward agency.
A proven track record of building and leading social teams, including hiring, coaching, and developing social managers, creators, and community leads.
Deep fluency across every major platform—TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Threads—with a sharp instinct for what works where and what’s coming next.
Demonstrated creative chops, including an eye for video, editing, copy, and design—you’ve personally shaped content that cut through, not just approved decks about it.
A track record of building organic social presences that actually grow, with meaningful case studies showing audience growth, engagement, and cultural impact you can point to.
Strong brand instincts, with the ability to balance consistent brand voice with the speed and spontaneity of social demands.
Cross-functional leadership skills—you build strong partnerships with Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Comms, and Artist Relations teams, and navigate feedback with clarity, diplomacy, and confidence.
Fluency with social analytics and reporting, and the ability to translate performance insights into creative and strategic decisions.
A deep love of music and internet culture—you spend time on the platforms, you know the creators, and you understand how taste gets made online.
A bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to ship excellent work fast in a scrappy, high-intensity environment.
