Position Summary...
Are you ready to shape how sellers understand and choose Walmart Marketplace? We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to steward and scale our Marketplace narrative framework and build the enablement systems that bring it to life across seller-facing moments - including events, one-to-one conversations, pitch decks, and more.
In this role, you will serve as the central steward of the Walmart Marketplace story, ensuring messaging is consistently applied, reinforced, and adopted across the organization. You will operationalize processes that drive messaging discipline, establish visibility into how our narrative is used in field, and enable our teams to confidently and effectively tell a clear, compelling, and claims-backed story.
About the team:
Your work will directly support seller acquisition, conversion, and category growth by ensuring a consistent and credible Marketplace narrative across all seller touchpoints. As part of a seller marketing strategy team within our seller events, communication and marketing group, you’ll also contribute to campaigns, initiatives, and
cross-functional programs that help third-party sellers of all sizes understand and engage with the Walmart Marketplace opportunity.
What you'll do...
- Maintain and govern the Marketplace narrative framework to ensure consistency across messaging pillars, category narratives, and proof points.
- Operationalize messaging governance and tracking, including an org-wide brand scorecard to monitor adoption and effectiveness.
- Own claims governance end-to-end, maintaining a centralized, compliant, and audit-ready claims library.
- Architect and scale the sales enablement ecosystem, ensuring strong version control, access, and adoption.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to embed consistent messaging across seller-facing teams.
- Support field-facing storytelling for products, programs, and category priorities.
- Help develop and refine total Marketplace and category-level narratives.
- Establish KPIs and insights to measure and optimize messaging impact.
What you'll bring: - 6–8 years in content, product marketing, or content strategy in B2B/SaaS/marketplaces; brand or agency experience preferred.
- Experience maintaining messaging frameworks and driving adoption of claims-backed enablement systems.
- Strong narrative skills, translating complex concepts into clear, seller-facing storylines for our copy team.
- Experience partnering with Legal/PR/Finance to substantiate and govern claims.
- Experience building systems that drive messaging consistency and visibility (e.g., scorecards, governance models).
- Strong project management across multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments.
- Analytical mindset with ability to link messaging to business outcomes; familiarity with Airtable, CRM tools, and analytics.
- Passion for empowering sellers .
- Nice to have: Marketplace or eCommerce experience; basic design literacy (Figma/Slides); Airtable experience.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
