AWS) is seeking a Principal Account Executive to join our US Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) HealthTech team. In this role, you will own and grow a portfolio of strategic HealthTech accounts — companies building software platforms that are reshaping how care is delivered, how clinical data flows, and how health outcomes improve at scale.
As a Principal AE on this team, you'll partner with HealthTech innovators to accelerate their product roadmaps, expand their market reach, and solve some of healthcare's most complex challenges using
AWS's breadth of services including GenAI, data & analytics, and purpose-built industry solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the full sales lifecycle for a portfolio of strategic HealthTech accounts — from prospecting and pipeline development through negotiation and close
- Build and execute account strategies that drive multi-year revenue growth, platform adoption, and deep customer partnership
- Develop and maintain C-level and VP-level executive relationships across your accounts, becoming a trusted advisor on technology strategy and cloud transformation
- Identify transformational opportunities including migrations, modernizations, GenAI/ML workloads, marketplace listings, and co-sell motions that create mutual value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Partner Development Managers, Specialists, and ProServe to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers
- Influence product roadmap priorities by surfacing customer needs and industry trends to
AWS service teams
- Drive operational excellence in pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal inspection through disciplined use of CRM and sales tools
- Represent
AWS at industry events, executive briefings, and customer advisory boards within the HealthTech ecosystem

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent
- Experience engaging with and influencing C-level executives
- 8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 10+ years of technology sales experience
- 4+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry experience
- Experience with the
AWS platform, web services, software development, or related technologie

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
