A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The Compliance, Safety and Risk Management team (CSRM) is a dedicated organization responsible for delivering and operating the safest, most secure, and resilient technical infrastructure through a comprehensive compliance, safety, and risk management program.
This Design for Safety (DfS) role will be responsible for ensuring our innovative data center products and designs prioritize and ensure the well-being and safety of the individuals interacting with these products throughout the entire lifecycle of our technical infrastructure from design, construction, operation, and eventual dismantling.
This role will provide leadership and EHS direction in the safe design of new infrastructure products and data center building designs. This proactive upstream effort aims to mitigate risk downstream to our employees, partners, and the environment across the data center lifecycle. You will engage with all levels of employees to continuously improve existing Design for Safety Standards and Processes. You will work with key stakeholders in engineering, project management, construction, operations, EHS, and external partners to continuously evaluate program risks and opportunities, and develop plans to execute on agreed objectives.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Applicants in San Francisco: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
