As part of the GPU Platform Architecture team, you will be working with architecture, design and software partners on the definition & tuning of Appleʼs future GPU Programmable Shader Core. Your role will involve extending and modifying the architecture, including the instruction set for the Shader Core. You will contribute to the development of prototype software implementations for simulated future hardware, gathering data and measurements to validate or invalidate these concepts.
Bachelor’s degree
Experience GPU, CPU, DSP or ISP architecture
Software experience in in C/C++, XSL, and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
20+ years of relevant experience
Familiarity with simulation environments
Ability to take ideas from concept to C/C++ simulator implementation
Experience working as part of large cross-functional teams
Ability to clearly communicate complex issues
Self-motivated and well-organized
