Job Title
Product Manager, E‑Commerce Growth
Working at Abbott
At Abbott, you can do work that matters, grow, and learn, care for yourself and your family, be your true self, and live a full life. You’ll also have access to:
The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA office in the Lingo division. Lingo is a new biosensing technology that provides users a window into their body. Lingo tracks key biomarkers – such as glucose, ketones, and lactate – to help people make better decisions about their health and nutrition. Biowearable technology will digitize, decentralize, and democratize healthcare, enabling consumers to take control of their own health.
We’re looking for a Product Manager, E‑Commerce Growth to build and evolve our DTC experience as a scalable growth engine. This role is focused on customer‑first revenue growth with a focus on developing clear, intuitive site experiences that help customers understand value, build confidence, convert, and repurchase.
You will own the intersection of customer journey, monetization, experimentation, and delivery, with responsibility for identifying what’s constraining ecommerce growth today and shipping the product changes required to unlock it. That may involve improving how we communicate value, simplifying paths to conversion, improving retention, or rethinking key moments in the experience, not just running incremental tests.
If you’re motivated by turning customer insight and imperfect data into measurable revenue impact, this is a high‑leverage role with real ownership.
What You’ll Do
Own Ecommerce Growth Strategy & Constraints
Diagnose the primary constraints to ecommerce growth across discovery, comprehension, conversion, trust, and retention.
Translate customer behavior, qualitative insight, and performance data into clear hypotheses and growth ideas.
Balance short‑term conversion gains with durable improvements to customer confidence, clarity, and long‑term value.
Build and Execute a Prioritized Growth Roadmap
Develop and maintain a growth‑focused ecommerce roadmap, aligned to conversion and revenue outcomes rather than output.
Identify when incremental optimization is sufficient—and when larger experience changes are needed to unlock growth.
Partner closely with marketing, analytics, and design to shape initiatives grounded in customer insight and business impact.
Drive End‑to‑End Experimentation & Delivery
Lead initiatives from problem framing and requirements through development, QA, launch, and post‑launch learning.
Define success metrics and experimentation plans that enable fast learning and confident decision‑making.
Ensure learnings—positive or negative—are captured and translated into sharper strategy and prioritization.
Run an Agile Rhythm That Enables Growth
Own the agile operating cadence (planning, grooming, standups, retros) as a mechanism to prioritize the highest‑impact growth work.
Write clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria that connect delivery to customer and revenue outcomes.
Use sprint planning and retrospectives to evaluate tradeoffs, improve throughput, and raise the team’s ability to learn from what ships.
Shape the Site Experience as a Growth Lever
Treat UX, content, and information architecture as active drivers of conversion, not just presentation layers.
Define experience and content requirements that improve value articulation, decision‑making, and CRO outcomes.
Provide visibility into experience performance, friction points, and emerging growth opportunities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
7+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in product management or closely related digital product roles.
Proven experience driving growth for ecommerce or revenue‑generating digital products.
Track record of shipping product changes tied to conversion, revenue, or customer experience improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree in business or a related field.
Experience in health-tech, wellness, or regulated consumer industries (e.g., medical devices, supplements, digital health)
Prior experience at a high-growth DTC or ecommerce company, particularly in a scaling phase (Series B+ or $25M+ revenue).
Experience implementing or scaling SEO programs, including on-page optimization, site structure, and content strategy.
Experience with AEM, Strapi, CommerceTools, OneTrust, and Braze
Experience with ecommerce webshop platforms, 3PL fulfillment partners, and payment processors to support seamless end‑to‑end digital commerce operations
Demonstrated expertise in orchestrating complex, multi-phase release programs with interdependent deliverables, driving alignment across teams to ensure seamless and timely launches
Experience working within dynamic, continuously evolving roadmaps, with clear approaches for planning, prioritization, and communicating changes across stakeholders
Proven ability to optimize onsite conversion as a core lever to drive revenue growth in ecommerce environments
Skills & Mindset
Growth‑oriented and constraint‑driven: you focus on what’s limiting impact and direct effort there.
Customer‑first approach to monetization—optimizing for clarity, trust, and long‑term value.
Strong analytical instincts and comfort making decisions with imperfect or directional data.
Hypothesis‑driven thinker who values experimentation, learning, and iteration.
Clear communicator able to align cross‑functional partners around ideas, tradeoffs, and outcomes.
Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, evolving environments, and dealing with ambiguity
Why This Role
This role is for a PM who wants to own growth, not just operate a site. Agile is a tool you’ll use to help teams focus, learn, and ship—not the end goal. You’ll have the space to diagnose real constraints, propose meaningful experience changes, and see your work translate directly into business results.
