As a part of the Risk, Compliance and Integrity organization (
RCI), you will bring together critical compliance, assurance, risk and governance functions that make sure Google is operating safely and building the capabilities across people, processes, and technology, making risk and complinace at Google SIMPLE, SCALABLE, and STRATEGIC, while helping provide confidence that our products are trusted and innovate responsibly.
In this role, you will be a part of the Business, Operations, and Governance team, the central Strategy and Operations team that makes it all happen, gaining a front row seat to influence and drive the strategic evolution of our team.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Conduct Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by leading cross-functional teams through the vendor selection process, negotiating investments and securing leadership sponsorship.
- Support and coach internal stakeholders in the end-to-end management of our vendor budgets.
- Influence forward looking investments and executive commitments while designing and executing comprehensive operational excellence strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals (e.g., site level, vendor level to global).
- Present key performance insights to RCI’s leadership, supporting initiatives to improve vendor operations while sharing best practices with vendor management and Google teams.
- Track, analyze, and optimize allocation across RCI, auditing vendor and agency spend to identify opportunities for consolidation, efficiency, and maximized Return on Investment (ROI).
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience managing multi-stakeholder programs with strong stakeholder satisfaction and data driven outcomes.
- Broad understanding of Google's product portfolio, business units, and oversight structures.
- Ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, domain experts, and external stakeholders
- Ability to work separately and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
