Sr Program Manager, Commerce Program Management - Partners, Apple Services Engineering

The Senior Program Manager will focus on launching commerce features and capabilities to build a world-class, scalable commerce platform for our growing services business. You will need to have hands on experience working with engineers as you explore new technologies, drive new initiatives and help build systems and features for hundreds of millions of transacting customers. You will develop tools and processes to gain efficiencies in the development and testing lifecycle. With a strong background in commerce, you will drive technical discussions with internal and external partners to implement the right solutions for our customers. The role requires a combination of program management, strong engineering background, and ability to build reciprocal relationships across various teams within Apple Services Engineering and other Apple organizations. We are looking for someone who loves digging into details, finding patterns, and driving operational efficiencies under demanding timeframes, and in parallel focusing on building scalable commerce platform capabilities. Of course, strong fundamentals are expected, but you have more.

Work with Product, Business and Operations teams to ensure business objectives and requirements are documented, facilitating review with Engineering and Quality teams
Identify work streams, with impacted teams and responsible individuals for each. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations teams to design solutions and develop project plans and schedules with clear achievements for all milestones
Drive regular syncs with cross-functional teams on progress to ensure work streams remain on track, risks and concerns are identified and escalated where appropriate, and ongoing status is communicated with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in the appropriate manner and cadence Identify operational efficiencies, working with cross-functional teams to build consensus and make recommendations to improve practices and tooling

7+ years of technical project management in global internet and consumer software companies
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field
Self-starter, with creative problem solving and critical thinking abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Team player with ability to navigate and thrive in a cross-functional environment
Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity
Ability to break up a large project into discreet workstreams, and ability to prioritize those
Hands on experience with engineering to build and ship complex technical solutions
Experience working on building highly scalable systems & applications

Solid track record in managing and deploying large, complex programs at scale
Strong relationship and facilitation skills both within diverse engineering and cross functional organization
Familiarity with building solutions that integrate with partners, either internal or external
Prior experience with subscriptions and service-based consumer products is a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 and $245,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
