How you will make an impact:
The Senior Manager, Finance will serve as a key strategic finance leader within Thermo Fisher Scientific's Molecular Biology Business Unit, a ~$1.1B global business operating in a highly innovative and fast-growing market. This role provides finance leadership and business partnership across commercial and marketing functions as well as two strategic business segments (SBS).
The individual will partner closely with senior commercial and product management leadership to drive growth-focused analytics, improve investment decision making, and provide actionable financial insights that influence business strategy and execution. In addition, the role will oversee critical business unit planning and forecasting processes and help elevate finance support capabilities across the organization.
This position offers broad exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work across strategic, operational, and analytical finance activities in a fast-paced and highly visible environment.

This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and broad visibility across a large, innovation-focused global business. The successful candidate will gain experience across commercial finance, strategic planning, investment analysis, business operations, and organizational leadership while helping shape financial decision making across multiple critical business functions.
The role is intentionally designed to combine operational FP&A leadership with strategic finance partnership and analytical problem solving. Success requires intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, business judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and ambiguous environments.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00–$194,950.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
