Netflix is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Consumer Products Strategy globally. In this role, you will build frameworks and playbooks that will improve which titles we choose to commercialize with CP, how we position them in the competitive landscape and the tools we use to drive awareness and sell through. Successful candidates will have a strong analytical skillset and knowledge of the Consumer Products industry. They will be able to frame ambiguous questions, assess which opportunities are most likely to drive impact and determine what evidence is needed to make a decision. They will have experience leading cross-functional projects and building alignment with a range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Build frameworks to improve how we select titles for Consumer Products, keeping an eye on merchandisability, audience coverage, and team capacity.
Identify opportunities to innovate deal structures including aligning incentives around risk taking.
Hone how we identify a viewership audience from a CP audience and use audience insights to enhance commercial conversations.
Expand beyond “title first” strategies towards more portfolio-based consumer moments that deepen partner relationships year-round.
Innovate and disrupt the way we drive awareness for our products and sell-through; track outcomes in partnership with our Data Science teams and refine CP playbook accordingly.
Develop metrics and tooling to track commercial pacing and identify opportunities to increase revenue and operational efficiency.
Conduct market research, track and compile industry trends and competitive analyses to inform consumer-centric strategies.
Create deliverables and present to a broad range of creative to technical business partners, as well as external partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment, e.g. strategy in a consumer products or entertainment company, top management consulting firm, investment bank.
Able to influence cross functional teams
Comfortable with modeling and analysis is performed
Experience in developing strategies and executing plans to scale consumer products businesses across multiple markets
Background working on large-scale entertainment properties
MBA is a plus, but not required
High aptitude and enthusiasm for problem solving, research, and financial modeling used in support of analyses and prescribed recommendations
Excellent in modeling, framing analysis, building presentations / memos and adapting communication to different stakeholders to drive decisions effectively
Detail oriented with a keen eye for process and business improvement opportunities
Demonstrated cross-cultural understanding and intelligence

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $317,000.00 - $496,000.00.
