As a Data Center Security Manager, you deliver full pieces of a project and make significant contributions with minimal guidance. You use your knowledge of security technology, data analysis, and data visualization to plan efforts of a team responsible for small to medium sized initiatives by delivering value-added perspectives and influencing project direction. You contribute to cross-team collaborations, identify and recommend multiple creative ways to solve defined problems. As a Data Center Area Security Manager, you will drive the outcomes of key data center infrastructure through technical contributions. You will use your deep knowledge of data center security designs, operations, and local laws to develop and lead programs that align with regional or global strategy in order to gain site efficiency. You will partner with external industry leaders and collaborate with upper management and cross-functional teams to discuss project prioritization, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for one or multiple cross-functional technical infrastructure locations.
- Act as a single point of escalation for defined security-related incidents having uncertain solutions.
- Drive security work to ensure one or more technical infrastructure locations are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and maintain an appropriate security posture.
- Perform complex risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of highly secure facilities.
Minimum qualifications:
- 10 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.
- 10 years of experience leading operational or project based work and tasks, and developing and deploying processes to mitigate risk.
- 10 years of experience coordinating or leading security, and experience planning security operations or strategy for security programs.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience managing incidents and crises.
- 3 years of experience with data center technologies, infrastructure, and methodologies.
- 3 years of experience with physical security system architecture, components, installation methods, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing a geographically dispersed FTE and contracted workforce.
