We're looking for a Workforce Planning Analyst to join our Central Operations team, supporting workforce strategy across our Data Center Engineering Operations (
DCEO), Data Center Operations (
DCO), and Logistics functions. You'll ensure our data center workforce is right-sized, properly skilled, and positioned to meet the demands of a rapidly scaling global infrastructure.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and maintain workforce forecasts for
DCEO,
DCO, and Logistics teams based on capacity launches, rack deployments, decommission schedules, and operational volume drivers
Partner with regional operations leaders to align headcount plans with site
launch timelines, colocation expansions, and infrastructure growth roadmaps
Analyze technician utilization, ticket volumes, preventive maintenance schedules, and logistics throughput to optimize staffing ratios
Model shift coverage requirements across 24/7 operations, accounting for shrinkage, attrition, training ramps, and seasonal variation
Support hiring
pipeline planning by providing lead-time-adjusted headcount recommendations to recruiting partners
Track and forecast attrition trends across roles (
DCEO technicians,
DCO engineers, logistics coordinators) and recommend retention-informed planning adjustments
Create dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into workforce health metrics: fill rates, time-to-productivity, overtime trends, and coverage gaps
Develop scenario plans for new region launches, fleet expansions, and technology transitions that impact labor demand
Drive standardization of workforce planning methodologies across geographies and operational functions
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including
forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
