The Company
Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.
We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.
Meet the team:
We are a high-impact, service-oriented Pilot Manufacturing team at Dexcom, partnering closely with R&D to bring new technologies to life. Our scope spans manufacturing of R&D studies, engineering and equipment support, procurement, and production planning and control—bridging development and full-scale production.
Our mission is to leverage our technical expertise and teamwork to build exceptional products and accelerate them to market. Our purpose is to learn fast, define scalable processes, and enable clinical success through reliable execution.
What makes this team unique is our direct partnership with R&D as our primary partner. Every build we run supports critical development milestones—shaping product design, enabling clinical trials, and accelerating innovation. The work is fast-paced, hands-on, and highly visible, with a direct impact on getting life-changing technology to patients.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring our builds execute smoothly, issues are quickly resolved, and teams stay aligned on priorities. If you’re energized by solving real-time problems, working across engineering and manufacturing, and making a tangible impact on cutting-edge products, this is a team where you can truly make a difference.
Where you come in:
You will own end-to-end production planning and control for R&D pilot builds, ensuring alignment between demand, capacity, and execution to plan.
You will develop and continuously refine capacity models, production plans, and Pilot Operations Planning inputs to enable rapid learning cycles and informed decision-making across R&D builds.
You will provide clear, real-time visibility into manufacturing performance, proactively identifying risks and driving cross-functional actions to protect milestones.
You will lead production readiness across equipment, materials, and labor, anticipating constraints and ensuring timely mitigation of risks to build execution.
Establish and drive a disciplined operating system (daily pulse, tiered meetings, weekly reviews) to enable rapid decision-making and accountability.
You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain leadership to close performance gaps and deliver against aggressive R&D timelines.
You will own Inventory and WIP across the value stream inclusive of procurement activities, driving resolution of bottlenecks and improving throughput and cycle time.
You will drive continuous improvement of metrics, reporting, and execution processes to increase predictability and readiness for scale.
You will oversee prioritization and execution of exception management and other risks to build schedules, ensuring resources are aligned to critical needs.
You will influence cross-functional decision-making (supply chain, finance, engineering) through data-driven insights on performance, capacity, and material strategy.
What makes you successful:
You are highly organized and execution-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing R&D environment.
You are data-driven, with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear actions.
You are a strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams and keep stakeholders informed.
Proactive and solutions-oriented, comfortable identifying risks early and driving them to resolution.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting plans in real time to meet evolving R&D needs.
What you’ll get:
A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.
A full and comprehensive benefits program.
Growth opportunities on a global scale.
Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.
