Applied Materials’ Manufacturing Engineering Department is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op to join our team. This Co-op will be in a cleanroom environment and will provide you with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly and modular test.
Role Responsibilities:
Work closely with build and test technicians to identify process improvement opportunities
Execute time studies on the build and test lines
Lead small manufacturing process improvement projects
Develop and update operation method sequences (OMSs)
Support manufacturing engineering with part defect root cause analysis and processing
Minimum Qualifications:
Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
Student must be in good academic standing, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving
Must be a quick learner and willingness to learn new skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering experience in development or manufacturing environment

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
