Job Summary
As a Performance Marketing Manager, you are responsible for defining and driving data-led, cross-channel marketing strategies that deliver measurable business growth. You own the development and execution of performance marketing strategies, optimizing for customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth.
A key focus of this role is establishing the foundational systems, processes, and reporting required to enable effective performance marketing, ensuring the right infrastructure is in place to scale activity over time. You leverage data, experimentation, and insights to continuously refine marketing approaches, while also identifying gaps in tracking, measurement, and tooling, and defining solutions to address them.
You act as a key connector across teams, partnering closely with Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, WW Market Marketing, and agency partners to ensure performance strategies are aligned with product positioning, creative execution, and market needs. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, combining deep expertise in performance marketing with the ability to build and operationalize scalable ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive cross-channel performance marketing strategies to support customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth
Own the planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Develop forecasts, set performance targets, and track progress against key business metrics
Build business cases for incremental investment, using data and performance insights to justify funding and drive growth
Establish and scale performance marketing systems, processes, and reporting frameworks to enable effective campaign execution and measurement
Identify gaps in tracking, data availability, and tooling, and define solutions to improve measurement accuracy and visibility into performance
Partner with analytics, engineering, and cross-functional teams to implement scalable tracking, reporting, and measurement capabilities
Leverage advance measurement tooling (MTA, MMM, & Geo Lift Studies) to continuously optimize performance, drive improvements in efficiency, conversion, and ROI
Develop and implement structured test-and-learn frameworks to refine targeting, messaging, and channel strategies
Analyze market, customer, and performance data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy
Translate data and insights into clear recommendations that influence marketing, product, and customer experience decisions
Partner closely with Product Marketing and Creative Strategy teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with product positioning and messaging
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Business Administration, or related field); MBA a plus
6–8+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, or growth marketing, ideally within technology or e-commerce environments
Proven track record of developing and executing performance marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
Experience operating in environments where systems, processes, or measurement frameworks needed to be built or significantly improved
Bring deep platform expertise (Retail Media, Meta, Google, Affiliate networks) to inform tactical and strategic decisions
Strong understanding of key performance metrics, including CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and ROI, and how to optimize against them
Experience leveraging data, analytics, and testing to drive continuous performance improvement
Strong understanding of e-commerce environments and user experience optimization
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across Product Marketing, Creative Strategy, WW Market Marketing, and agency partners
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data, insights, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
Experience managing agency and vendor relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage complexity
Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong sense of ownership
The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
