What you will do:
As our Senior Manager, Events & Experiences, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of best‑in‑class meetings and events that support the priorities of the businesses, industry associations, and senior leadership across the Customer Solutions Division. You will own the end‑to‑end events and experiences function, ensuring programs are strategically aligned, flawlessly executed, and deliver meaningful engagement and business impact.
You will oversee a broad portfolio of internal and external meetings and events, including leadership meetings, sales meetings, customer engagement programs, customer site visits, advisory boards, and national and regional industry conferences. Events range from small executive and advisory gatherings to large‑scale meetings, conferences, and experiences.
You are responsible for translating business objectives into event strategies and experiences, partnering closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Leadership stakeholders to define purpose, audience, format, and success metrics. You will provide strategic direction and hands‑on leadership across venue sourcing, budget management, vendor and agency oversight, compliance, risk management, and on‑site execution, while continually raising the bar on attendee experience and operational excellence.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on event strategy and is accountable for delivering consistent, high‑quality experiences that reflect the brand and support business goals.
Develop and implement meeting planning strategy and cadence in alignment with divisional goals and budget.
Lead team on the development of detailed program budgets, control documents and tracking information for every program. Complete all required documents and follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance (external and internal policy) and continuity of all programs.
Drive a strategic and proactive approach to event planning, communication, and outcomes with internal stakeholders, including Divisional Leadership team, and external partners, to ensure alignment.
Oversee and coach team on the execution of meeting requirements, plans and schedules that meet identified requirements. Requirements may include invitations, registration, air and ground travel, food and beverage, audio visual, amenity selection, site inspections and selection, billing reconciliation, program evaluations and follow-up with minimal direction.
Manage large scale domestic and international programs.
Deliver attendee experiences that generate high levels of engagement, in-person and/or virtually.
Lead collaboration across group, division and business units for division meetings (i.e. national sales meeting) Drive consistency and collaboration for functional/team meetings as appropriate.
Manage the selection, negotiation and management of vendors needed to execute meetings.
Institute processes, systems and tools for effective meeting planning and evaluation across the division.
Launch methods for attendee and stakeholder feedback to provide recommendations for future program enhancements or changes.
Comprehensive understanding of virtual platforms and tools to recommend optimal strategy for virtual events and meetings.
Keep current with internal and external meeting trends to foster high attendee engagement and interaction.
What you need:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of professional work experience is required for this position.
7+ years trade show/event experience/convention experience is needed for this role.
5+ years of experience managing multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
Preferred:
4+ years of people management experience highly preferred
Certified Meeting Planner, qualified to take CMP exam, or equivalent experience preferred but not essential
