As a member of the Google Cloud Communications team, you will collaborate with other cross-functional teams to communicate with journalists and thought leaders, develop specific communications materials and devise thought leadership campaigns. You'll understand the power of Google’s Cloud products and tell the story of how we help our customers innovate. You'll engage in face-to-face meetings with internal executives and external opinion formers, and develop print and web-based materials supporting these campaigns.
As a key member of the Google Cloud Communications team, you will work cross-functionally on the execution of key U.S.-focused PR campaign initiatives that support Google’s global infrastructure. Working closely with the U.S. energy campaign manager, you will help educate the market on the economic and societal benefits of the physical infrastructure that powers Google’s products and services around the world, driving stories in local, state, and national media. Additionally, you will maintain strong relationships with journalists and influencers; develop written materials and messaging; and help project-manage aspects of the campaign. A major part of the role is moving fast, while collaborating effectively with multiple teams across the organization.
